Our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic was amazing! We travelled around almost the entire island, rented a yacht and sailed in turquoise waters, enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere of Cabarete and Juan Dolio. We even admired the Dominican Republic from a helicopter!

Since our trip was in January, we were able to see an unparalleled sight — humpback whales near the island of Samana. At this time of year, even these beautiful creatures have their whale honeymoon.

One day, we went to Punta Rucia, a small fishing village, and took a boat trip to Cayo Arena, a unique shoal in the ocean, for snorkeling and fantastic photos. Now it seems to us that it was like something out of a film!

We also visited Jarabacoa, a small town in the mountains, where we went rafting on a mountain river.

During our honeymoon, we felt that the Dominican Republic is a place where the sun caresses your skin and the smiles of the locals make your holiday truly warm and heartfelt.
Everything here breathes life: from the bright sunsets over the ocean to the passionate rhythms of merengue and bachata, from the freshness of coconuts and mangoes to the majestic mountains and waterfalls.

This is a place you want to return to again and again to feel the serenity meet the exciting exoticism.
