When we hear the phrase «the South of France», our imagination
always conjures up romantic images.

These include tall, slender thuja trees, the scent of exotic flowers, azure beaches with golden sand, and curly pines covering the shores with a green veil.

These places are a magnet for artists, writers and musicians. Vincent Van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Marquet, Braque, Chagall, Dufy, Léger, Ivan Montand, Derain, Friedrich Nietzsche, F. Scott Fitzgerald seem to have just left these lands, everything around is imbued with art.

Our honeymoon in the South of France was carefully planned, and preparing for the trip was like writing a thesis or conducting scientific research — we wanted to explore every corner of these lands.

The day before our trip, we learned that Madonna was vacationing in Antibes, and the night before, she and her family had visited La Colombe d’Or restaurant. And, of course, being fans of her work, we went there too. At that time, we did not know that La Colombe d’Or was a legendary hotel and restaurant where artists paid for their accommodation and food with their works. Original works by Picasso, Chagall, Braque, Miró and Matisse still hang on its walls.
To this day, it remains the most memorable gastronomic experience of our lives! The restaurant has a magnificent garden, truly heavenly, and the atmosphere is incredibly magical!
During our honeymoon, we were lucky enough to stay at the unrivalled Le Hameau hotel at the foot of the town of Saint-Paul-de-Vence. It is an old 18th-century Provençal-style farmhouse surrounded by orange trees and a fragrant garden. The artist Marcel Chagall worked in this building.

As our trip was in September, the region was in the midst of the grape harvest. In Saint-Paul-de-Vence, there is a small vineyard called Le Vignoble Saint-Paulois, located near the village walls and on terraces. Wine production here is modest, almost ‘confidential,' but we managed to get into a small circle of friends with whom we had an unforgettable and happy experience of harvesting grapes, followed by a bountiful lunch in the French tradition.

During our trip, we visited Monaco, Eze, Nice, Antibes, Cannes, the island of Sainte-Marguerite, villages, museums and beautiful beaches. The Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, where we spent some unforgettable moments, also left a vivid impression.

This is a place of love for famous personalities such as Yves Montand and Simone Signoret, Romy Schneider and Alain Delon.
For centuries, this place has welcomed those who changed culture, and each left their invisible mark here: Roger Moore, Kirk Douglas, Orson Welles, Jacques Prévert, Greta Garbo, Sophia Loren, Catherine Deneuve, Lauren Bacall, the Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Madonna.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a wonderful Provençal village overlooking the Côte d’Azur, combining Provençal charm with proximity to Nice and the Mediterranean Sea.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is one of the most iconic villages on the French Riviera, and we dedicate all our praise to it!

We were very happy here, and these memories will forever
remain our talisman of love, inspiration and blessing.
